The first mmmarvellous mmmuffins opened its doors in 1979 based on a simple goal- To provide freshly baked muffins and fresh ground coffee to each customer.

And the goal was certainly met. Legions of customers lined up for their daily treats outside the 300 sq. foot store in what was then Toronto’s Eaton Centre, attracted by the irresistible aromas of fresh baked muffins and freshly brewed coffee throughout the day. The store’s on-premise oven allowed customers to see and experience the freshness of mmm’s baked goods and produced aroma’s and scents that attracted customers throughout the day.

Today, we operate 34 stores from coast to coast. We have expanded our product line up to include cookies, croissants, danishes, soup, sandwiches and our newest introduction- cupcakes! Still baking on site daily, using the finest high quality ingredients; eggs, creamy buttermilk, golden honey, dark molasses, bran, oatmeal, fresh fruits and canola oil. Our baked products contain no preservatives or additives.

We proudly bake and serve over 3,000,000 muffins each year!
